Account Manager

 

Come make a big impact for a small company at Beardbrand. We are looking to add a motivated Account Manager to our growing team. You will be responsible for educating & building relationships with retailers, for coordinating orders, and for being awesome.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Make sure to follow up with retailers who are interested in carrying our products.
  • Effectively communicate and educate current retailers about the benefits of our product line and help our retailers understand the value of carrying our full line.
  • Keep track of your communication efforts.
  • Work with controller to make sure retailers are paying in a timely fashion.
  • Audit online retailers periodically to ensure product data accuracy.
  • Field retailer requests for promotional opportunities, product training, and store events. Work with wholesale team to execute as appropriate.
  • Maintain awareness and knowledge of competitive brands and effectively communicate Beardbrand’s competitive edge.
  • Setup new accounts within all appropriate systems.
  • Send invoices for payment.
  • Keep our store locator up to date with accurate listings.
  • Maintain accurate records for each account (lines carried, average quantity ordered, average rate of reorder, etc).
  • Coordinate all shipments with warehouse to ensure accurate and timely shipments. Communicate proactively with customers regarding order status including estimated ship date and any changes to product availability.

 

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Assertive, confident communication.
  • Interest in business and a drive to always improve.
  • 3-5 years experience in account management, inside sales, or customer service.
  • Familiarity with retail, wholesale, manufacturing, distributing in the consumer goods industry.
  • Adept at multi-tasking, prioritizing, and self-managing.
  • Prone to over-documenting and excessive note taking.
  • Dependable.
  • Articulate.
  • Professional.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate across departments internally and externally to ensure exceptional customer experiences are attained.
  • Extremely organized and process-driven.

Job Details:

  • Full-Time (40hrs per week)
  • Work Location: Onsite - Downtown Austin, Monday - Friday, Austin, TX
